Profound alternatives: self-serve AI visibility tools for brands and agencies (2026)

Profound now sells brand plans through a free trial and a demo. A sourced comparison of Baarely and the self-serve Profound alternatives, with prices, engines, and agency costs checked 29 September 2026.

The short version

Baarely is the Profound alternative for brands and agencies that want public, self-serve pricing. From €29/month you get ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini on every plan (plus Google AI Overviews, checked weekly, if you switch it on), a prioritized fix list with paste-ready content, and a before-and-after check: once you ship a fix, Baarely asks the AI the same questions again and shows whether it now names you. Agencies get native white-label client reports for five brands on the €299 Agency plan. Profound is the stronger pick if you have an enterprise budget and want daily tracking on up to nine engines, prompt-volume data, and AI marketing agents, which it now sells to brands through a demo.

Choose Baarely if

  • You want to start today at a public price (from €29/month) without booking a demo.
  • You want Claude and Gemini tracked on every plan alongside ChatGPT, plus Google AI Overviews checked weekly if you switch it on.
  • You want a prioritized fix list with paste-ready content, and a way to check whether each fix worked: Baarely asks the AI the same questions again and shows whether it now names you.
  • You are an agency that needs native white-label client reports (branded PDF plus HTML, English or Polish) for five brands on one €299 plan.

Choose Profound if

  • You have an enterprise budget and want daily tracking on up to nine engines, including Perplexity, Copilot, and Google AI Mode.
  • You want prompt-volume data on what people actually ask AI, and AI marketing agents that research, write, and report.
  • You are an agency that wants the 10 pitch workspaces a month included in the $99 Agency Growth plan, and daily client tracking at $399/month per client workspace.

What changed at Profound

On 15 September 2026 Profound announced a $180 million Series D at a $1.8 billion valuation, co-led by Sequoia Capital and Kleiner Perkins, and said it now serves more than 1,000 enterprise brands. Its pricing moved upmarket too. Until mid-September 2026 its pricing page listed a self-serve Starter plan at $99/month and Growth at $399/month (billed yearly), according to Internet Archive captures from 14 September 2026. Today the brand side offers two options: a free 7-day Trial (50 prompts a day on ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews, with no history, exports, or API) and a custom Enterprise plan through a demo, with up to nine answer engines. The only self-serve paid plan left is for agencies. If you were looking at Profound’s old $99 or $399 plan, there is no self-serve equivalent for a brand now, so a self-serve alternative may be the closer fit.

Claude is the opposite: Baarely is the one tool in this table that includes it on every plan (queried through Anthropic’s API). Pick by the engines your buyers actually use. Does Profound have a self-serve plan?

For brands, no. As of 29 September 2026, a brand can run Profound’s free 7-day trial (50 prompts a day, one language, one region) and then talk to sales about Enterprise. For agencies, yes: Agency Growth is self-serve at $99/month, and full client workspaces are added at $399/month each.

How much does Profound cost for agencies?

Agency Growth is $99/month and includes 10 pitch workspaces a month (25 prompts each, run daily for 7 days, extendable) plus agency mode and consolidated billing. Every client you actually manage needs a full client workspace at $399/month: 100 prompts run daily on ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, one language, and 400 agent credits a month. An agency with five clients pays $99 + 5 × $399 = $2,094/month.

Baarely’s Agency plan is €299/month for five brands, with native white-label client reports included. The plans are not identical, so compare what you get. Profound gives each client 100 prompts run daily (500 across five clients), includes Perplexity, and adds 400 agent credits per client; Baarely’s 300 prompts are shared across the account, each brand is scanned three times a week, and the engines are ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, plus Google AI Overviews weekly if you switch it on. If your clients need daily data or Perplexity, Profound is built for that. If they need a branded report, a clear fix list, and a before-and-after check on every fix, Baarely does it for €299 a month rather than $2,094.

Which Profound alternatives track Claude?

Baarely tracks Claude on every plan, from €29/month. Otterly sells Claude as a paid add-on. Scrunch includes Claude only on Enterprise, and Peec only on Enterprise and its Agency Scale plan. Profound lists Claude among its nine engines on Enterprise and Agency Enterprise, but not on its free trial or its Agency Growth client workspaces (all as of 29 September 2026).

Why teams pick Baarely over Profound

A public price and a scan today

Baarely’s plans are on the pricing page: Starter €29/month (25 questions scanned weekly), Growth €99/month (three brands, 100 questions twice a week), and Agency €299/month (five brands, 300 questions, native white-label reports). A 7-day trial includes a full scan, so you see your honest baseline before you pay. No demo, no procurement cycle.

From "we are invisible" to "here is the fix, and here is what it changed"

Baarely’s headline AIO Score is weighted heaviest on your unprompted mention rate, the share of unbranded buyer questions where an assistant names you without being asked about you. Then it turns your biggest gaps into a prioritized fix list of up to four actions at a time, with paste-ready content (clearer brand facts, FAQ entries, structured data, the third-party mentions worth earning). Once you ship a fix, Baarely asks the AI the same questions again and compares your mentions before and after, so you see whether the number moved. That check is included from the €29 Starter plan, once a week, and runs more often on higher tiers.

A client report you can send

For agencies, the Agency plan generates a native white-label report for any brand you manage over the period you choose: a branded PDF plus a self-contained HTML companion, in English or Polish, with no Baarely branding and no login for the client. You send the file; the client reads it.

When to stay with Profound

Profound is an excellent enterprise platform. Stay with it, or book the demo, if you need daily tracking across up to nine engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek, Claude, Google AI Overviews, and Exa Search), prompt-volume data from consumer panels, AI marketing agents that research, write, and report, and enterprise requirements such as SSO/SAML and SOC 2. It is also a strong fit for agencies that want the 10 pitch workspaces a month included in Agency Growth and daily data per client, and can carry $399 per client each month.

Frequently asked questions

Is Baarely a good Profound alternative?

Yes, if you want self-serve pricing and a clear next step. As of 29 September 2026, Baarely tracks ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini on every plan from €29/month (plus Google AI Overviews checked weekly if you switch it on), hands you a prioritized fix list with paste-ready content, and, once you ship a fix, asks the AI the same questions again to show whether it now names you. Agencies get native white-label reports for five brands on the €299 Agency plan. Profound is the better fit for enterprises that want daily tracking on up to nine engines and can buy through a demo.

Does Profound still have a $99 plan?

Not for brands. As of 29 September 2026, Profound’s pricing page offers brands a free 7-day trial (50 prompts a day on ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews) and then a custom Enterprise plan through a demo; the $99 Starter and $399 Growth brand plans (billed yearly) it listed until mid-September 2026 are gone. The $99 price now belongs to Agency Growth, an agency plan that charges $399/month for each full client workspace on top.

How much does Profound cost for agencies?

As of 29 September 2026, Profound Agency Growth is $99/month and includes 10 pitch workspaces a month for prospects. Each full client workspace is an add-on at $399/month (100 prompts run daily on ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, plus 400 agent credits). Five client workspaces therefore cost $2,094/month, for 500 prompts run daily. Agency Enterprise is custom. Baarely’s Agency plan is €299/month for five brands, with 300 prompts shared across them, each brand scanned three times a week on ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, and native white-label reports. The plans differ in volume, cadence, and engines.

Does Profound offer white-label reports?

Profound’s pricing page describes an agency mode with per-client workspaces, consolidated billing, and CSV or JSON exports on client workspaces, but it does not use the term white-label (as of 29 September 2026). Baarely generates a native white-label client report, a branded PDF plus a self-contained HTML companion in English or Polish, on the €299 Agency plan.

Which Profound alternatives track Claude?

As of 29 September 2026: Baarely tracks Claude on every plan. Otterly offers Claude as a paid add-on, Scrunch includes it only on Enterprise, and Peec includes it only on Enterprise and its Agency Scale plan. Profound lists Claude among its nine engines on Enterprise and Agency Enterprise, but not on its free trial or its Agency Growth client workspaces.
